A POEM IS LANGUAGE STRUCTURED THROUGH THE REPETITION OF ANY LANGUAGE ELEMENT.

I agree but would add "in a manner that serves to make the langauge memorable." This works because 'memorable' is a layered word which covers mnemonics all the way up to the vision of paradise.

thanks William-- a very interesting idea! I will ponder on this. Maybe it is a more essential aspect of the definition than might appear at first. After all, the mother of the Muses was Mnemosyne/Memory...
